6th Annual Festival of Trees
The Westin Jackson is proud to host their 6th Annual Festival of Trees during the month of December! Festival of Trees is a community wide series of events which include a Gala featuring the Youth of the Year Competition 2023-2024 for the Boys & Girls Club of Central Mississippi, Ballet Mississippi’s Sugar Plum Fairy Tea, Estelle’s Brunch with Santa, outdoor ice skating, and more. We are proud to announce the Boys & Girls Club of Central Mississippi as our Charity Partner for 2023. Our Christmas Tree Lane located in The Westin Jackson’s meeting space will publicly display decorated holiday trees from local businesses and organizations as a sponsorship to our charity partner, with all proceeds going to the local Boys & Girls Club to provide a fun, safe and constructive environment for kids and teens during out-of-school hours.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Mississippi
The mission of the Boys and Girls Club of Central Mississippi is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Community-based and led by professional staff, Clubs serve small towns, large metropolitan areas, public housing communities, and Native populations, as well as those who live on U.S. military installations worldwide.
They offer programs and services to help young people succeed in school, develop leadership skills, and maintain healthy lifestyles. 73% of low-income members ages 12 to 17 who attend the Club regularly say they earn mostly As and Bs, compared with 69% of low-income youth nationally.

Christmas Tree Decorating Party
Each sponsor may invite up to five individuals to decorate a (7.5 ft) Christmas tree that The Westin Jackson will provide from November 28th - November 30th. All decorations are to be purchased by the sponsor and to follow the theme of “A Mississippi Christmas”.
